Techniques:

My watercolors are created by using a glazing technique, which builds layers of intense colors. I occasionally use mixed media - Japanese rice papers or recycled papers for texture.  Gold leaf is used for embellishment on both the watercolors and oils. Oil paintings are created by glazing over the under-painted layer or gesso texture, this helps me to achieve a richness of color and depth.
